This Spanish Colonial style corner building with a corralled brick cornice has four pairs of double-left chevron doors with transoms opening onto the street Casimiro Tamayo was a well-to-do-businessman and a prominent local politician born in nearby Point (Port) Isabel, Texas. He was a customs hide inspector and the owner of 1,100 acres in Cameron County.
